STATUS: PreSeason look at the imaginary Whales C-Maldonado -- digging the -3 arm. 1B- TBD 2B-Biggio--reverse lefty -could see time in OF-- not good with glove in either area Arraez -- solid OB both ways, great in clutch, another 4 in field 3b- Seager mediocre O, only Whale who can catch the ball except when Simmons plays SS- 3 bodies Simmons- a 1... mediocre O Bichette--potential--good pop, average ob, fielding a WIP Castro--Surprise 300 hitter. Bad D. LF- T Kemp-- decent platoon against rhp- 3 in LF RF- Haseley- adequate CF- Trout--great against righties, above avg. against lefties - 2 instead of a 1 hurts some. Overall-- if Whales can fill the many gaps with avg or above, can improve in win column but a long ways away from playoffs, much less trophies. Pitching analysis: soon
